WWE Leaves Door Open For Kayla Braxton To Return

Door open for Kayla Braxton to return to WWE

While she may no longer be a part of the company, Kayla Braxton might not be finished with WWE forever. According to Fightful Select, WWE have left the door open for Kayla Braxton to return in the future, should she wish to.

Braxton officially finished up with WWE on the June 28 edition of Friday Night SmackDown from New York City's Madison Square Garden, with Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes leading Braxton's farewell.

Braxton posted the following statement following her WWE exit:

“I’m so overwhelmed. So thankful. Wow. I still can’t put what last night meant to me into words. But to have @americannightmarecody buying me out into MSG to bid my farewell to all of you while @tripleh and members of my WWE family were waiting for me in the back to congratulate me … I couldn’t have asked for a better goodbye. This family is truly special and I plan to always be a part of it. I love you all more than you know.”

Braxton had been a part of WWE for eight years, performing various roles in the company, including backstage interviewer, pre-show host, and host of The Bump. Braxton's contract recently expired, although she remained with the company until the Madison Square Garden show.

Braxton reportedly held talks with AEW but she will be pursuing a career outside of pro wrestling following her WWE exit.
