WWE have not altered their plans to make the Intercontinental Title match at SummerSlam a Triple Threat.

It emerged in recent days that WWE were planning to run back Sami Zayn vs. Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam. The two talents have been feuding for the past several weeks and Zayn defeated Breakker to retain his title at Money in the Bank on July 6.

Ilja Dragunov has had his own issues with Bron Breakker on WWE TV and Dragunov challenged for the Intercontinental Title in the main event of Monday's episode of Raw. That match ended in a no-contest, however, after Bron Breakker interfered and beat down both Dragunov and Zayn to end the show.

This led some to speculate that Dragunov could be added to the planned Sami Zayn vs. Bron Breakker match at SummerSlam to make it a Triple Threat. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, however, the plan is still to do a singles match between Zayn and Breakker at the pay-per-view.

"It's still Sami Zayn and Bron Breakker for the show," Meltzer said.

SummerSlam will be held at Cleveland Browns Stadium on Saturday, August 3. WWE recently confirmed that Cody Rhodes will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Solo Sikoa in one of the headline matches at the event.
