WWE SummerSlam 2024 Main Event Confirmed

With just a few weeks until the ‘Biggest Party of the Summer’, WWE have confirmed the main event for SummerSlam 2024, with the Undisputed WWE Championship set to headline the show in Cleveland Browns Stadium.

Cody Rhodes is set to put the title on the line against new Bloodline leader Solo Sikoa, with tensions between the two escalating for the last several weeks. ‘The American Nightmare’ initially agreed to the bout on the July 12 edition of WWE SmackDown, pending confirmation from SmackDown GM Nick Aldis.

Sikoa got the pin on Rhodes at Money in the Bank in July during a six-man tag pitting Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens against Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu. However Solo has never defeated Rhodes in singles competition, could that change at SummerSlam?

Rhodes vs. Solo isn’t the only men’s title match set for the show, with Damian Priest set to put the World Heavyweight Title on the line against Gunther.
