Darby Allin & The Acclaimed Added To Team AEW For Blood & Guts

AEW Blood & Guts teams completed on Dynamite

The lineup for AEW Blood & Guts was officially completed on the special 250th episode of Dynamite on Wednesday, July 17.

Team Elite had already been completed following Hangman Page's addition to the side last week but Team AEW still required three members heading into Dynamite. It didn't take long for the side to add two new members as The Acclaimed asked Mark Briscoe and Swerve Strickland if they could join the team, with the AEW World Champion ultimately adding them to the squad after mentioning their past feud over the AEW World Tag Team Championships.

The main event of Dynamite saw Strickland go one-on-one with Kazuchika Okada in a Champion vs. Champion Match but the contest ended in a DQ following interference from The Elite. The final moments of Dynamite then saw The Elite and the four members of Team AEW face off before Darby Allin descended from the rafters and officially joined Team AEW, kicking off a brawl.

With The Acclaimed and Darby Allin joining the team, AEW Blood & Guts will be Team Elite (The Young Bucks, Kazuchika Okada, Hangman Page, & Jack Perry) vs. Team AEW (Swerve Strickland, Mark Briscoe, The Acclaimed, & Darby Allin).

The special Dynamite episode of Blood & Guts will air from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday, July 24. Also announced for the show is an FTW Title match between Chris Jericho and Minoru Suzuki with The Learning Tree banned from ringside.
