WWE NXT Drops To Lowest Viewership Since 'NXT 2.0' Relaunch

A bad week in the ratings

The November 9 episode of WWE NXT drew the lowest audience since the show's relaunch as 'NXT 2.0' in September.

According to ShowBuzz Daily, this Tuesday NXT averaged 603,000 viewers on the USA Network, which is a decrease of 4.4 per cent from last week. This is the lowest rating scored by the show since the revamp to the 2.0 era on September 14.

In the crucial 18-49 demographic, NXT only registered a 0.15 rating, which puts the WWE developmental program 36th on cable. The 0.15 was an identical rating to last week's episode.

In an interesting twist, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, the November 9 episode of NXT actually did better with younger viewers. The male 18-49 category saw a rise in viewership, as did both the male and female 12-34 demographics.

However, a large drop in people between the ages of 25-54 led to NXT's overall decrease in viewership. The best category watching the show remains people over the age of 50.
