It looks as though the NXT women’s division is set to receive even more of a boost in the very near future, as a notable name has made a comeback from injury at a live event this past week for WWE’s developmental brand.

Former two-time NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion Gigi Dolin made her return to the ring following a lengthy injury at an NXT house show in Lakeland, Florida on November 22, taking on current NXT star Cora Jade in singles action.

Dolin’s last match in WWE came all the way back in March of this year when she lost via disqualification to Arianna Grace. She was subsequently ruled out with a serious knee injury that was reportedly believed to be a torn ACL that could keep her out until the end of the year, depending on its severity. Judging by the fact that she has returned to the ring with over a month left of 2024, it seems the injury could have been less severe than initially thought, or her recovery process went exceedingly well. It isn’t known when she will be back in the mix on NXT programming.
