Update On Possible WWE Return For Stephanie McMahon

Stephanie McMahon departed from all of her roles in WWE at the start of 2023 when it emerged that Vince McMahon was elected as Executive Chairman of the Board, forcing his way back into the day-to-day running of the company despite previously ‘retiring’. Even after Vince McMahon’s official exit from WWE, Stephanie McMahon has not returned to any of her previous positions, despite there being a reported ‘dismay’ amongst talent upon her stepping down. 

She has made some appearances in the crowd at the likes of WrestleMania 40 and SummerSlam 2024, and at the time it was noted by Triple H that she had no official role in the company, but stated that she still loves WWE, and expected her to be around. Talent was also reportedly happy at her presence. In a new note from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, he revealed that as the year comes to a close, Stephane McMahon still does not have an official role in WWE.

However, it was revealed that she is very often seen at WWE Headquarters recently, indicating that she might well be back in the mix soon, or she at least has involvement in the company on an unofficial level.
