WWE NXT On October 10 Internally Referred To As ‘NXTMania'

The massive NXT October 10 show was internally referred to as ‘NXTMania’ within WWE

WWE and All Elite Wrestling went head-to-head once more on Tuesday, October 10, with NXT running live against a pre-empted ‘Title Tuesday’ special of Dynamite.

NXT pulled out all the stops heading into the ratings showdown, booking some of the biggest names in WWE history for the show, a move that ultimately paid dividends as NXT handily beat AEW in the ratings.

So big was the October 10 edition of NXT that the show was internally referred to as ‘NXTMania’, per a report from Bodyslam.net.

The title was certainly apt, as the show featured the likes of Cody Rhodes, John Cena, Paul Heyman, and The Undertaker making appearances in the WWE Performance Center, amongst others. The show was also referred to as the ‘Greatest NXT of All Time’.

This was a far cry from the ‘Wednesday Night Wars’ of 2019 - 2021 where AEW handily defeated NXT most weeks, with a schedule change in April 2021 seeing NXT move to Tuesdays from then on.
