WWE NXT Planning To Hold TV Taping In New York City

WWE are planning to tape WWE NXT from New York City in the coming months.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE are looking to hold the NXT taping on Tuesday, March 11 at The Theater at Madison Square Garden. The taping would be the day after WWE Raw from MSG on March 10.

The Theater at Madison Square Garden is a theatre located beneath MSG. The venue can seat between 2,000 and 5,600 people depending on the event.

WWE NXT previously held a live event at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in 2016. The venue has also previously hosted Lucha Libre AAA events and several house shows from World Championship Wrestling.

WWE NXT have held several shows outside of the WWE Performance Center since moving networks to The CW in October 2024. WWE reportedly tried to book the Hammerstein Ballroom for an NXT taping but they were blocked from doing so as the date was too close to shows presented by All Elite Wrestling/Ring of Honor at the venue.
