WWE NXT Talent Officially Moves To The Main Roster

An NXT talent heads to the WWE main roster

A WWE NXT talent is now officially on the main roster.

Dragon Lee has impressed on Raw and SmackDown in recent weeks, first in a loss to Dominik Mysterio for the NXT North American Championship on the September 25 edition of Monday Night Raw. Lee has since picked up his first win on the main roster, defeating Austin Theory on the October 6 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

WWE.com has officially switched Dragon Lee's brand from NXT to SmackDown and it has been confirmed by PWInsider the luchador is now a member of the blue brand, having received his main roster call-up.

Lee signed with WWE in December 2022, with his signing being announced mere moments after he and Dralistico defeated FTR for the AAA World Tag Team Championships, an angle which caused issues between AAA and All Elite Wrestling. Lee eventually made his WWE debut in March 2023 and the expectation was he would be moving to the main roster within a year of his debut.

Prior to his WWE run, Lee wrestled for the likes of AAA, AEW, NJPW, and Ring of Honor.
