WWE NXT Title Match Set For Stand & Deliver

NXT Stand & Deliver 2024 to feature an NXT Title match

With Roadblock officially navigated, NXT are looking ahead to Stand & Deliver, with the fourth annual WrestleMania weekend show set for April 6.

Despite being a month away from the show, we have confirmation that the NXT Championship will be on the line, with champion Ilja Dragunov set to put the belt on the line against Tony D’Angelo.

Tony D won the opportunity to face Dragunov with victory over Carmelo Hayes at Roadblock, with D’Angelo hitting the Fisherman’s Suplex after Hayes was distracted by Trick Williams’ music. D’Angelo revealed post-match that he was the one behind Trick’s music playing, before formally introducing Trick who proceeded to beat Carmelo and his security team down.

On the February 27 edition of NXT, Hayes and Dragunov were set to officially set to sign off on a singles match at Stand & Deliver when D’Angelo revealed that NXT GM Ava had sanctioned a number one contender’s match between himself and Hayes instead.

Hayes and Williams have been feuding since Vengeance Day in February, with Hayes turning on his long-term tag partner at the event.

Announced card, NXT Stand & Deliver, April 6, 2024:

  • Ilja Dragunov (c) vs. Tony D’Angelo - NXT Championship
