WWE NXT Vengeance Day Special Set For February 15

A special on the way

WWE NXT's next major event will take place next month.

WWE announced during Tuesday's edition of NXT that a Vengeance Day special will air on February 15 on USA, one day after Valentine's Day.

A match has already been booked for the event too and Cameron Grimes will challenge Carmelo Hayes for the North American Championship. Grimes earned a shot at the title on Tuesday after he defeated Tony D'Angelo in a number one contender's match following interference from Pete Dunne.

NXT's first Vengeance Day event took place on Valentine's Day last year as a TakeOver show. Finn Balor defended the NXT Title against Pete Dunne in the main event and Adam Cole turned on the Undisputed ERA to end the show.

Vengeance Day will be NXT's second TV special of the year, following January's New Year's Evil. Plans are also in place for a major 'Stand And Deliver' NXT show to take place during WrestleMania 38 week, with preliminary plans indicating the event will be held on the same day as night one of 'Mania.
