IMPACT Wrestling have continued to be affected by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, with PWInsider reporting that this past weekend's tapings were greatly disrupted due to it.

The world is currently getting to grips with the highly-infectious omicron strain of the virus.

According to the site, a number of talent and staff were missing due to medical protocols. Some had tested positive, while others had been in close contact with someone who had. One source described the COVID issues as the 'worst they had seen in a long time'.

The absence of talent and staff led to a lot of re-writing during the week prior to the tapings.

The promotion's next touring date is the 'No Surrender' IMPACT Plus special, which will take place in the Alario Center in New Orleans on Saturday, February 19. Currently set for that show is an IMPACT World Title match between champion Moose and W. Morrissey.

It is uncertain, at this point, how the television re-writes will affect the build to that show, if at all.
