WWE NXT Wins Second Straight Viewership Battle, AEW Dynamite Wins Once More In Key Demos

Big win coming off Survivor Series...

With momentum from NXT's victory over Raw and SmackDown at WWE Survivor Series, the yellow-and-black brand's November 27 broadcast toppled AEW Dynamite in total viewership, though Dynamite did maintain its lead in all the key demographics.

According to Showbuzz Daily, NXT averaged 810,000 viewers for its November 27 broadcast, which is actually a 12 percent drop from the previous week's 916,000 average.

AEW Dynamite, meanwhile, took quite a fall down to 663,000 viewers, a 26 percent drop from last week's 893,000 average.

The 1,473,000 combined viewers are the second lowest for NXT and Dynamite combined since head-to-heads began in early October, ahead of only the week in which both shows went up against the seventh game of the World Series.

Understandably, the holiday week (with Wednesday being the "travel day" for many) played a part.

In demos, Dynamite finished 15th for the night in viewers 18-49 (down from eighth the previous week) with a 0.26 demo rating. NXT finished 19th (down from 14th the prior week) with a 0.24 rating.

The only demographic in which NXT won, as has been the custom in this battle, is in viewers over 50.
