WWE Officials Pushing For Title Change At NXT Stand & Deliver

Possible title change being pushed for within WWE

At least one title change may well take place at Saturday's NXT Stand & Deliver premium live event.

Roxanne Perez is scheduled to challenge Lyra Valkyria for the NXT Women's Championship at Stand & Deliver, with the match coming about after Perez finally completed her long-teased heel turn in early March.

Perez is a former NXT Women's Champion and she has impressed officials within WWE, according to Fightful Select's Corey Brennan. Her main roster call-up is reportedly "only a matter of time" but some in NXT want Perez to remain with the brand for the time being as she continues to develop her new heel gimmick. The new character has "blown away" officials to such an extent that some are actually pushing for Perez to win the NXT Women's Championship at Stand & Deliver. If WWE are planning to go ahead with the title change is currently unknown, however.

Following a run on the indies that saw her hold the ROH Women's World Championship, Roxanne Perez signed with WWE in March 2022. In addition to her NXT Women's Title reign, Perez is a former NXT Women's Tag Team Champion with Cora Jade.

WWE have high hopes for Perez's future, with one source in the company telling Corey Brennan that "the sky is the limit" for the former Rok-C.
