Officials and higher ups within WWE are reportedly, and perhaps unsurprisingly, extremely unhappy with Mick Foley for his recent video criticising the company's recent creative decisions and direction.

Foley took to social media at the start of this week to declare that WWE has a problem, as young wrestlers no longer consider Vince McMahon's company the place to be to further their careers.

The Hardcore Legend doubled down on his assertions during an interview on Sean Waltman's podcast, pointing to how Keith Lee and Karrion Kross had their NXT characters unnecessarily altered when they were moved to the main roster.

With Foley putting over All Elite Wrestling's recent momentum, following the signings of CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole and Ruby Soho, Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast is saying that the icon's comments have not gone down well within WWE.

Zarian said: "Let’s talk about the Mick Foley video that I can tell you, people are very unhappy with at WWE that he put that video out. I’m not gonna say who told me this but there is like an unwritten rule with these legends where you can’t disparage the company in any way. And that was pretty disparaging.

"He was pretty blatant about saying ‘we’re not doing good stuff here guys.'"

Another WWE Hall Of Famer in Booker T also recently vocalised his support and agreement of Foley's comments.
