WWE Planning Saudi Arabia Return For Late May

WWE heading back to Saudi Arabia in May

WWE will be heading back to Saudi Arabia in late May, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider

There is no word on an exact date for the show, nor what the event will be named. WWE held Night of Champions on May 27, 2023 at the Jeddah Super Dome. Headline matches at the show saw Seth Rollins defeat AJ Styles to become the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion and Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn successfully defend the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles against Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa.

WWE have held pay-per-views in Saudi Arabia since 2018 when the company signed a 10-year deal with the Saudi General Sports Authority. The company has held two pay-per-views in the Middle East for several years.

WWE last visited Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel on November 4 in Riyadh. That show was main evented by Roman Reigns vs. LA Knight for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

WWE have two major shows scheduled before late May. WrestleMania 40 is set for April 6 and April 7 while WWE will head to Lyon, France for Backlash on May 4.
