WWE Plans For New Uncle Howdy Group Revealed

There has been a new report on plans for Uncle Howdy's WWE stable

The new Uncle Howdy faction has been in the works for several months, with teases, QR codes, social media takeovers, and more, though the group has not yet surfaced on WWE programming.

Although there are no new updates on when to expect the group to appear on WWE TV (aside from “soon”), Fightful Select have given some more information on WWE’s expectations for the group, how they will be presented, and more.

It was confirmed once more that Bo Dallas (as Uncle Howdy), along with Dexter Lumis, Nikki Cross, and Erick Rowan were all expected to be a part of the act. NXT’s Joe Gacy is another name which has floated around previously in reports. When looking ahead to when the faction debuts, WWE reportedly believes that the act will work in modern wrestling, and will not experience the same hurdles as some of Bray Wyatt’s programs did. The group is set to have no supernatural elements, so WWE doesn’t think that the same problems will occur.

In terms of how those in the act will be presented, there have been discussions that those in the group will be taking on the roles of Mercy The Buzzard, Huskus The Pig Boy, and The White Rabbit, though visuals and other details are being kept “close to the vest”.
