WWE Producer Jokes Chris Jericho Is Returning To WWE Following AEW All Out Announcement

Jericho will risk it all at All Out

WWE Producer and former wrestler Shane "Hurricane" Helms has joked Chris Jericho is WWE bound.

The Painmaker was granted another match against MJF at the All Out pay-per-view on last night's edition of Dynamite, but Jericho will have to risk it all in the process.

Jericho has spent the last week doing "some serious soul searching" and Le Champion announced on Dynamite that if he could not beat MJF, he would never wrestle in All Elite Wrestling again.

Following the announcement, Shane Helms joked Jericho would be heading back to his former employers WWE, tweeting: "Jericho to WWE confirmed!"

If Jericho does indeed lose to MJF at All Out, he will continue with his Rampage commentary duties alongside Excalibur, Taz and Mark Henry.

Jericho and MJF have been locked in a storyline for almost a year and the former AEW World Champion has twice failed to defeat Friedman in singles competition. He first failed at Full Gear 2020, which earned MJF and Wardlow spots in the Inner Circle, and Jericho came up short again on August 18 when The Salt Of The Earth forced him to tap out during the Fifth Labour of Jericho.
