WWE Pull Charlotte Flair From Media Appearances

Flair was stopped from doing an interview on Thursday

WWE have seemingly pulled Charlotte Flair from media appearances this week.

The Queen had been slated to conduct a number of interviews and do a host of appearances in order to promote WWE and her new home on Friday Night SmackDown ahead of the October 29 show, which would have been extra interesting given what reportedly occurred backstage on last week's episode of the blue brand.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful was one of the journalists who had time booked to interview Flair, but revealed on Twitter on Thursday that WWE had pulled Charlotte from the appearance.

The timing of WWE's decision to stop Charlotte Flair from doing interviews is interesting given the reports out of last week's SmackDown.

As previously noted, Flair and Becky Lynch reportedly got into a backstage confrontation after The Queen seemingly didn't follow the planned script for their 'Championship Exchange' segment, leaving Lynch and Sonya Deville looking less than impressed during the live television broadcast.

Flair was reportedly escorted from the building following the incident but there have been no further reports as to if WWE intend to punish her in any way for her actions. Journalists would have almost certainly asked questions about the reported happenings at last week's SmackDown, something WWE will no doubt want to avoid.
