What happened with the big egg?

WWE remained at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York for the post-Survivor Series edition of Monday Night Raw, an episode that was dominated by Vince McMahon's hunt for the Red Notice egg thief.

Raw wasted no time in revisiting the storyline and an annoyed Vince McMahon opened the show with Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville in his office. The WWE officials revealed their investigation had failed to turn up any leads since Survivor Series. That simply wouldn't do for McMahon and he revealed whoever returned the egg would get a WWE Title match.

After much investigating by all of the roster, who hunted far and wide around the Barclays Center for the big egg, Sami Zayn and Sonya Deville revealed to McMahon that Austin Theory was the thief. The former Way man tried to explain that he just wanted to take a selfie with the egg but one thing led to another and next thing he knew, the egg was back in his hotel room.

McMahon appreciated Theory's honesty in turning himself in and called Sami Zayn a snitch, awarding Austin the WWE Title shot to The Great Liberator's dismay.

Big E then defended the WWE Title against Theory in the main event as Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens sat at ringside. It didn't take long for Rollins to attack Big E's injured knee from Survivor Series while the official was distracted, which led to a berating from Kevin Owens. Both KO and Rollins then bickered on the outside which distracted Austin Theory for some reason and Big E took advantage, decking his opponent with the Big Ending for the 1-2-3.

A brawl between KO, Rollins and Big E then broke out, and the WWE Champion ended the night standing tall after decking Rollins with a Big Ending, while Owens had scurried up the ramp and simply watched on.

The main event wasn't Seth Rollins only involvement on Raw as he was scheduled to face Finn Balor but the match never happened as The Architect attacked Finn during his entrance. Both men then battled back and forth before Rollins left the inaugural Universal Champion lying following two Stomps.

Then, in a shocking moment, Rollins was suddenly attacked by a fan as he headed up the ramp, leading to the spectator being pulled off the former WWE Champion by officials as the broadcast panned away from the chaos.

Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch also appeared on Monday Night Raw on November 22 for a promo, during which she berated the fans. Big-Time Becks then interrupted Liv Morgan's interview later in the show and goaded Liv, asking her if she was going to cry before Morgan had enough and punched Lynch in the face.

The Women's Tag Team Championship also changed hands in a short match on Monday Night Raw as the team of Queen Zelina and Carmella defeated Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H, with Zelina pinning The Almost Superhero following a Code Red.

Elsewhere on Raw, a Randy Orton-dressed Riddle defeated Dolph Ziggler following an RKO. Orton was initially annoyed about the situation but he grew pleased and hit Robert Roode with a Bro Derek. Dana Brooke also ended the night as 24/7 Champion after she rolled up Cedric Alexander, who had defeated Reggie in a singles match. Sami Zayn, still annoyed about not being granted a WWE Title shot, also accepted Damian Priest's open challenge for the United States Championship. He failed to win the gold, though, after Priest turned to his dark side and decked him with the Reckoning for the win.
