WWE Reaction To Nick Aldis Signing

What do WWE think of Nick Aldis?

After working behind the scenes as a producer in recent months on a trial basis, Nick Aldis made his WWE TV debut on October 13, being revealed by Triple H as the new General Manager of Friday Night SmackDown. Aldis then revealed that Kevin Owens was SmackDown's compensation from the trade with Monday Night Raw for Jey Uso.

As expected following his TV debut, it has been confirmed that Nick Aldis has officially signed with WWE and he is no longer a free agent. If Aldis will continue in his producer role is unknown but Fightful Select reported the former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion was not listed as a producer for the October 13 edition of SmackDown.

Aldis is said to have been easy to work with since his trial as a producer and he has been willing to make the most of whatever opportunities WWE have given him. Others within WWE also stated Aldis was eager to make whatever role he was given work.

Aldis' most high-profile in-ring run in 2023 came as part of his return to IMPACT Wrestling. He main evented the promotion's Slammiversary pay-per-view where he unsuccessfully challenged Alex Shelley for the IMPACT World Championship.
