Interference Leads To New Champions On WWE Raw

Title change on WWE Raw

WWE capped off the season premiere of Monday Night Raw with a title change.

Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso put the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships on the line in the main event against Judgment Day's Finn Balor and Damian Priest. Cody Rhodes was taken out down the stretch following a Low Blow and Razor's Edge through the announce table from Damian Priest but Jey Uso looked set to score the win for the champions following a Spear to Priest.

Jey then went to climb to the top turnbuckle for an Uso Splash to Finn Balor but 'Main Event' was suddenly taken out on the apron by an interfering Jimmy Uso while the referee was checking on Priest. This levelled Jey and Finn Balor followed up with the Coup de Grace to score the victory for Judgment Day.

The win kicked off Judgment Day's second run with the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships. Their first reign lasted 35 days until they lost the belts to Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso at Fastlane on October 7. Rhodes and Jey Uso's reign only lasted nine days.

Raw went off the air with Judgment Day surrounded by gold as Rhea Ripley remains the Women's World Champion and Dominik Mysterio is the NXT North American Champion.
