Dani Palmer has been released by WWE, with the NXT talent announcing her departure from the company on Instagram.
Along with photos of her and Tank Ledger, Palmer wrote:
"Thank you WWE for bringing me to the love of my life. The past 3 years have been amazing! It's a bittersweet feeling to be officially closing out my athletic career, but I can truly say I went til the wheels fell off..literally lol. Our bodies are a gift and mine has been so kind to me. I look forward to this next chapter!! Gods been giving me some big dreams with bringing my business back and I couldn’t be more stoked about it! Thank you all for the support."
Palmer was one of several WWE releases in recent days, joining the likes of Dakota Kai, Braun Strowman, Shayna Baszler, Kayden Carter, Katana Chance, Cora Jade, Gigi Dolin, Eddy Thorpe, Jakara Jackson, Riley Osborne, Oro Mensah, Javier Bernal, and Gallus.
Palmer - real name AJ Amrhein - signed with WWE in 2022 and was primarily utilised on NXT Level Up, having suffered from multiple injury issues while under contract. She was most recently booked on EVOLVE until suffering another injury earlier this year.
Palmer generated controversy in October 2024 when she insinuated Hurricane Milton was engineered to target US states that primarily vote for the Republican Party. There, of course, is no technology which allows humans to create and control hurricanes.
