WWE Reportedly Offer Mental Health Counselling To Talent

WWE sent the reminder to talent yesterday

WWE has reportedly contacted all talent on their books to offer mental health counselling services to each of them.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select is reporting that WWE sent the reminder to the talent in a text message, letting them know that such services are available to them if they feel they need them, in the wake of the tragic passing of former WCW, TNA and ROH talent Daffney Unger.

The text message contained details of a counselling company that WWE works with, along with contact information, while also reminding talent that WWE Medical is also on hand to help.

The text, according to PWInsider, read: "As a reminder to our Talent, if you are dealing with a difficult personal matter and would like to speak with someone to get the support you need, please don’t hesitate to contact  [Counselling Company Name Withheld] at [NUMBER DELETED] or WWE Medical."

In the wake of the immensely sad news of Daffney's passing, former NXT superstar Jake Atlas also revealed on social media that WWE paid for him to go to therapy for six months, and credited the promotion for saving his life.
