WWE are reportedly considering having Gable Steveson made his anticipated in-ring debut at WrestleMania 38.

WWE's plans to fast-track Steveson to the main roster became apparent during the recent Draft when the 21-year-old Olympic Gold Medallist was selected to join the Monday Night Raw brand.

Steveson was signed by WWE in September and, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, the company's short-term plans for their latest, high profile acquisition include getting him to a place where he can wrestle his debut for the promotion at the 'Showcase Of The Immortals' in Arlington, Texas, on Sunday 3 April 2022.

According to the report, WWE plan on featuring Steveson on television occasionally over the coming months before he turning him into a regular talent on Raw once the college wrestling season ends in March.

Following that, WWE will have a few weeks to build a story for Steveson ahead of his anticipated debut at WrestleMania 38.

The reigning NCAA Champion is one of the most accomplished amateur wrestlers of his generation and has already drawn comparisons to the likes of Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle.
