WWE Reportedly Working On Becky Lynch Documentary
A show about The Man...
Dec 13, 2018
Becky Lynch's ascension to becoming The Man has been one of the stories of 2018 in WWE. And despite those pesky rumours of those higher up in the company not being on the current SmackDown Live Women's Champion's side over recent years, it looks like the decision makers are finally embracing
BeckyMania
by putting together a documentary about her.
It's a short one, but here's what
The Wrestling Observerhimself Dave Meltzer penned in his week's Newsletter: "They were shooting a Lynch network documentary this week which included her appearance on Ariel Helwani’s show."
Becky appeared on Helwani's show on Monday and spoke about numerous topics including a potential tag team match with MMA fighter Conor McGregor in Ireland, and her potential WrestleMania 35 opponent, Ronda Rousey.
"She’s taken to this (pro wrestling) like a duck to water,” Lynch said of Rousey, before adding: “It doesn’t matter what the gender is, or if it’s for an evolution or whatever. People care about this fight. It’s the one that people will care about the most. So it should be the main event (of WrestleMania).”
You can watch Becky's conversation with Helwani
here.
WWE recently posted a short documentary to their YouTube channel detailing the moment Becky found out she wasn't going to be able to compete against Ronda Rousey at this year's Survivor Series. You have to feel this revealing little clip, where Becky can be seen coping with the news while being consoled by the likes of Dean Malenko, Paul Heyman, and Sheamus was a little tester for the (presumably) bigger documentary to come.
