WWE is planning to return to the United Kingdom later this year.

The company announced today they will head across the pond in September for a SmackDown live event tour. Shows will be held across the United Kingdom from September 19 to September 22.

The tour will begin at Newcastle upon Tyne's Utilita Arena on Sunday, September 19. The SmackDown crew will then head to London's O2 Arena on September 20 before travelling to Cardiff's Motorpoint Arena on September 21. WWE will finish off the tour at Glasgow's SSE Hydro on Wednesday, September 22.

SmackDown's Roman Reigns, Big E, Sasha Banks, Bianca Belair, Bayley and The Usos are all currently advertised for the shows.

Outside of NXT UK, the SmackDown live event tour will be WWE's first shows in the UK since November 2019. The COVID-19 pandemic ultimately halted any touring plans the company had, but more and more people are getting vaccinated and UK lockdown restrictions are currently scheduled to end on July 19.
