WWE Reveals Plans For Backlash 2025

WWE have announced that Backlash 2025 will be held at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri on Saturday, May 10. This will be the first edition of Backlash to take place in the United States since 2022.

WWE are already advertising Randy Orton and John Cena for Backlash 2025. Orton is from St. Louis, while John Cena is currently on his retirement tour which will run throughout 2025. The 16-time world champion became a heel for the first time in 22 years at Elimination Chamber.

Tickets for the show will go on sale on Friday, March 21 following a presale on Wednesday, March 19.

Backlash has been an international pay-per-view in recent years, with the 2023 edition of the premium live event emanating from San Juan, Puerto Rico. Backlash 2024 was held in Lyon, France.

Bad Bunny fuelled speculation that Backlash 2025 would be held in Mexico City earlier this year but WWE denied that would be the case.

St. Louis has hosted several WWE pay-per-views in the past, including the 2012 and 2022 editions of the Royal Rumble, Money in the Bank 2017, and Survivor Series in 1998 and 2014.
