Von Wagner Set To Wrestle First Match Since WWE Release

Cal Bloom (FKA Von Wagner) is set to wrestle his first professional wrestling match since being released by WWE in April 2024.

Independent promotion Midwest All-Star Wrestling have announced that Bloom will be in action at their Mayhem At The Mall show on Saturday, March 15 at the Maplewood Mall in Maplewood, Minnesota. The event is free to attend and will get underway at 1 pm local time.

Bloom will go one-on-one with Shay Diesel, an independent wrestler who primarily performs in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Another talent announced for the show is former ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion Rey Horus.

March 15 will be Bloom's first match since he faced Lexis King on the April 2, 2024 episode of WWE NXT. Bloom was released by WWE soon after, having been a part of the company since 2019.

As Von Wagner, Bloom established himself as a popular member of the NXT roster after initially being a meme because of his "Cum Tuesday" promo. Wagner was let go as he was considered a main roster wrestler but the 30-year-old wasn't being used on either Raw or SmackDown.
