WWE Reveals That Charlotte Flair Will Be Out Of Action For 9 Months

Charlotte Flair will out of action for the foreseeable future

It is bad news for Charlotte Flair, as WWE have announced that the multi-time Women’s World Champion is expected to be out of action for the next nine months.

Flair picked up an injury last week on SmackDown, falling off the top rope and seeming to have jolted her leg and knee on the way down in a very rough landing. Despite finishing her match with rival Asuka, losing after interference by Damage CTRL member Bayley, Flair had to limp through the rest of the bout, treading very carefully on her damaged leg.

During last night’s Friday Night SmackDown, the commentary team revealed that Flair will now be out for nine months following her injury. The details surrounding her knee/leg are not yet confirmed by Flair or WWE, but this length of time could indicate some sort of serious tear. Flair is set to miss the Royal Rumble 2024 event and WrestleMania 40 save for a miraculous recovery, and could even miss SummerSlam 2024 next year too.
