WWE Ruthless Aggression Era Talent Makes NWA Debut

A WWE Ruthless Aggression era wrestler showed up in the NWA

A talent from the Ruthless Aggression era of WWE debuted for the National Wrestling Alliance on the November 14 edition of NWA Powerrr.

Rush and Rolando Freeman are currently searching for a third member of The Spectaculars and they enlisted Billy Corgan to help present the 'Who Wants to Be a Spectacular' competition on NWA Powerrr. As the competition progressed, former WWE talent Paul Burchill appeared as he began to campaign for a job, stating that he should be hired simply because he is Paul Burchill.

This arrogance didn't go down well, though, and he instead had to dance for The Spectaculars which earned the former pirate a 10/10 from Billy Corgan. If Tuesday's appearance is just a one-off from Burchill is unknown. The third member of The Spectaculars will be revealed next week.

Burchill had largely been out of pro wrestling in recent years but he announced his return earlier this year.

Hailing from the United Kingdom, Burchill first competed on the UK independent wrestling scene before he was signed by WWE in 2005. He debuted soon after in a tag team with William Regal but the duo soon split and feuded after Burchill became a pirate, adopting a similar look to Captain Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

Burchill was later drafted to Raw and then ECW where he wrestled alongside storyline sister Katie Lea. He was released in February 2010.
