WWE’s Kofi Kingston On The Possibility Of A New Day Triple Threat
Don't hold your breath
Despite all three members of The New Day vowing to never split and feud, the question of a potential New Day triple threat match in WWE always rears its head.
The idea popped up once again during an interview between Cerrito Entertainment and former WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, but Kofi once again shut the notion down:
“There are no cracks in our foundation in the house of the New Day, that’s the thing. It’s that when one of us wins, all of us win. So we are just out there winning, doing what we do. For years, since 2016, everybody has talked about, ‘One of you guys has to turn each other and this is what you have to do to succeed, you gotta go out there and take your own well being into consideration cause you should be more jealous of the success of your partners.’ I said, look at all the success we have had over the years.”
Since forming in 2014, the trio of Kingston, Big E, and Xavier Woods have won 15 titles in both singles and tag team competition, with Xavier wood the current King of the Ring, and big E in his first reign as WWE Champion.
