WWE's Relationship With Saudi Arabia To Continue Despite Sale To Endeavor

Endeavor's history with The Kingdom will not affect WWE's working relationship with it

WWE will continue to do business with Saudi Arabia, despite their sale to Endeavor.

There were questions regarding how the sale would affect the partnership between WWE and the country, given Endeavor's contentious history with the kingdom.

The relationship between Endeavor and Saudi Arabia broke down in 2019 following the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, with Endeavor returning the $400 million investment the country had paid them the year prior.

In an interview with Axios, WWE President Nick Khan confirmed that their relationship with Saudi Arabia would continue, saying:

"[O]ur relationship with The Kingdom is a terrific partnership for which we're appreciative of, and you know, nothing in terms of anyone else's prior experience will affect that. We think that we've delivered the product in the way that The Kingdom wanted it delivered. We have a multiple-year agreement with them in place. We're excited to do a show — we'll be back there May 27 for a big premium live event".

WWE return to Jeddah on May 27 for the King & Queen Of The Ring PLE.

WWE's deal with Saudi Arabia is worth $100 million annually, according to Wrestlenomics
