WWE Scraps Mia Yim Name Change

No Michin in-ring name for Mia Yim in WWE

WWE have seemingly scrapped a recent name change.

It emerged this week that Mia Yim's profile on WWE.com had been changed to Michin, with the name then being used alongside Mia Yim by WWE's announcers on Monday Night Raw. The WWE.com profile has since been changed back to Mia Yim, though. Why WWE decided to change and then scrap Michin is unknown.

Yim has used Michin as a nickname since her WWE return and she explained why she added it to her character on the Ten Count

"Yes. It's a nickname within The OC, all the boys have their nicknames. They're like, 'You need a nickname too.' 'We'll do a nickname that I've had since I was a kid. Something that my mom has been calling me since I was a kid. We'll go with that,'" Yim said.

Michin means crazy in Korean.

Yim returned to WWE earlier this month, aligning with The OC as they looked to solve their Rhea Ripley problem. The two competitors will collide in WarGames at Survivor Series when Yim teams with Asuka, Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, and an unnamed partner against Ripley, Bayley, Dakota Kai, IYO SKY, and Nikki Cross.
