WWE Seemingly Turning The Miz Babyface

The Miz looks to be becoming a babyface once again

The Miz looks set to become a babyface for the first time since 2019.

Gunther was the latest guest on Miz TV during the October 30 episode of Monday Night Raw in Greenville, South Carolina. The Intercontinental Champion didn't initially turn up for the segment, though, with Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci arriving to the ring first. Gunther did eventually make his way out to the squared circle and immediately told The Miz that he did not respect him.

This led to a back and forth between the two talents, during which The Miz argued that he was serious when he became a two-time WWE Champion, main-evented WrestleMania 27, and added to the prestige of the Intercontinental Title. Gunther simply laughed, though, and had Ludwig Kaiser destroy Miz's pumpkin which prompted Miz to attack Kaiser.

Miz was able to initially take down Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci but he only ate a chop from Gunther, who told The A-Lister he was not on his level. Miz then tried to fight back but he was held back by Imperium as Gunther connected with a big boot to leave The Miz lying.

An Intercontinental Title match between The Miz and Gunther certainly looks to be on the horizon and The Miz will look to earn a shot at the championship in a Fatal 4-Way on next week's Raw against Bronson Reed, Ricochet, and Ivar.

This also looked to be the start of a babyface turn for The Miz and Better Wrestling Experience reported ahead of Raw that a turn had been discussed within WWE.

"Few ideas discussed over a potential Miz face turn working with DIY. Not confirmed yet though," BWE tweeted.

#DIY have been involved in a programme with Imperium for the past several weeks. Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa defeated Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser on Raw following the segment between Gunther and The Miz.

The Miz did have a babyface run in 2019 but it is not looked upon fondly due to programmes with Shane McMahon and Bray Wyatt.
