WWE Signs Mark Henry's Son

Jacob Henry, the son of WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry, has revealed that he is WWE's newest signing.

Jacob announced on Thursday during his father's set at Remix Rumble that he has signed with WWE and more is "going to come out in the next couple of days." Jacob is currently a student at the University of Oklahoma and he is a part of the school's wrestling team.

If Jacob will start with WWE immediately or complete his degree first is unknown. Mark Henry recently stated in a TMZ interview that he will let his son pursue pro wrestling full-time after he finishes college.

"His true passion is pro wrestling. He's not trying to be the Olympic champion. He said, 'Dad, I'm not trying to go to the Pro Bowl or win the Super Bowl.' He said, 'I want to main event WrestleMania. I wanna go to Japan and be champion.' He's gotta hand me that degree first. Him and my daughter both. I was like, 'Y'all hand me the degree, I will give you the keys to your inheritance and you can go do whatever you want to do,'" Mark Henry said.

Mark Henry was a part of WWE from 1996 until 2021. He then had a stint in All Elite Wrestling as a coach that came to an end earlier this year when his contract expired. Henry now runs All Caribbean Wrestling and he is open to working with WWE.
