WWE Signs Multiple AAA Names

Following WWE’s Worlds Collide event alongside AAA in June, it was believed that many AAA roster members on that show had signed with WWE, including the likes of Mr. Iguana, Psycho Clown, and Octagon Jr., especially since they have all since appeared on WWE programming in a range of appearances, including main roster in-ring showings. 

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer, several other names have been signed to WWE deals, notably La Parka. Also listed among those signed to WWE are Microman, La Hiedra, Faby Apache, Nino Hamburguesa, Mesias and Lady Flammer, with many already being merchandised by WWE. It is also stated that anyone involved at TripleMania 33 is likely to be under WWE contract already, with WWE not wanting anyone to be able to compete in AAA and walk away to other promotions such as AEW. 

It was reported this week that WWE were considering a potential logo rebrand for AAA given this new era for the company. Rumours have also surfaced about the potential debut of Omos in AAA, who has been absent ever since being pulled from working in Pro Wrestling NOAH.
