Blake Monroe will soon be a main roster talent, with a vignette teasing the former Mariah May will arrive on SmackDown airing on the post-WrestleMania 42 episode from WWE’s blue brand.
Monroe failed to appear on the May 1 episode of SmackDown, but Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that the expectation is Monroe will debut on SmackDown by the end of this month. Those plans, as with any WWE plans, though, are subject to change.
When Monroe does show up on the WWE main roster, though, Cory Hays of Bodyslam has claimed she is expected to be involved in the mid-card title scene. This would suggest Monroe will be a part of the Women’s United States Title picture, with the championship currently held by Tiffany Stratton after she defeated Giulia on the April 24 edition of SmackDown.
Blake Monroe made her WWE debut on the June 3, 2025 episode of NXT and she had been a part of the Tuesday night show for several months. This included a 52-day reign as NXT Women’s North American Champion, but Monroe finished up with NXT with a Casket Match loss to Tatum Paxley at night two of NXT Revenge.
Prior to signing with WWE, Blake Monroe performed in All Elite Wrestling as Mariah May. She is a one-time AEW Women’s World Champion and one-time Owen Hart Foundation tournament winner.
