WWE SmackDown Viewership Sees Minimal Increase From Prior Week

With a large second hour jump

A week out from WWE WrestleMania 37, and Friday night's episode of SmackDown saw a razor-thin increase in viewership from the previous week's broadcast.

Per ShowBuzz Daily, SmackDown averaged 2,036,000 viewers across its two hour showing, up a mere 5,000 viewers from last week's 2,031,000 viewers.

Curious was the disparity between the two hours. Hour one averaged 1,963,000 viewers, while the second hour saw a sizable increase to 2,109,000 viewers.

SmackDown averaged a .50 rating in the 18-49 demo, keeping it in lockstep with recent weeks.

The only demo in which this week's SmackDown saw any sort of hour to hour fluctuation was in 25-54, where they increased from a .60 in hour one, to a .70 in hour two.

That .65 average is up from last week's 25-54 rating of a .60. WWE did drop in 50+, however, down to a 2 share from a 3 last week.

SmackDown finished second for the night in 18-49 across its time slots, losing only to ABC's Shark Tank (.60). It tied for the win in 18-34 (.30) in those same time slots, with CBS's Magnum P.I.
