Coming off of Sunday's Fastlane pay-per-view, and with WrestleMania 37 at last taking shape, Friday night's WWE SmackDown saw a solid increase in total viewership.

Per Showbuzz Daily, SmackDown averaged 2,031,000 viewers across its two hour broadcast, up 85,000 viewers (four percent) from last week's 1,946,000 viewers.

Hour one averaged 2,020,000 viewers, while the second increased to 2,041,000.

SmackDown's 18-49 rating was a .50, the same as a week ago. The 25-54 demo dropped from a .65 to a .60.

Where SmackDown saw increases was in male 18-49 and adult 18-49 demo shares. Male 18-49 did a 5 share, up from a 4 one week ago. Adult 18-49 increased from a 2 to a 3 share this week as well.

Unlike last week, this week's SmackDown faced no competition from the men's NCAA basketball tournament, which is a likely factor in categories where the numbers increased.

In its time slots, SmackDown finished second in 18-49, behind only ABC's Shark Tank (.60). In 18-34, SmackDown pulled a .30 rating, tying it with Shark Tank as tops overall for the night.
