WWE Still Interested In Mike Santana

WWE's interest in Mike Santana has not cooled ahead of the TNA World Champion's contract with TNA Wrestling potentially expiring.

It emerged this week that Santana's current deal with TNA was reportedly scheduled to expire at some point in July 2026, and WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select has reported that WWE are interested in signing Santana. There is said to be strong internal support from at least one member of the WWE main roster for Santana and his work and professionalism is highly regarded.

Should Santana sign with WWE, the company would reportedly like him to be on the main roster by the end of 2026.

It first emerged in the summer of 2025 following his appearances on NXT that WWE were interested in potentially bringing in Santana, and that interest has not dissipated.

Santana is in his second run with TNA, having returned to the promotion at Rebellion 2024 after five years in All Elite Wrestling. He is currently in his second reign as TNA World Champion, having defeated Frankie Kazarian to win back the title at the IMPACT premiere on AMC in January 2026.
