An eventful pay-per-view...

On a night defined by revenge, some WWE Superstars were able to exact vengeance on their despicable enemies while others will have to wait a little while longer.

Someone who failed to get retribution was Rey Mysterio as Seth Rollins handcuffed him to the middle rope and forced him to watch while The Monday Night Messiah Stomped Dominik into oblivion.

Others were more successful, however, as Apollo Crews finally put an exclamation point on his feud with MVP, Asuka reclaimed the Raw Women's Championship from Sasha Banks after failing to beat Bayley earlier in the show, The Street Profits defeated Andrade and Angel Garza, and Mandy Rose forced Sonya Deville to leave WWE after pinning her in their No Disqualification Match.

One world title also changed hands as "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt vanquished his longtime foe Braun Strowman to win the Universal Championship. The new champion didn't have time to celebrate, however, as Roman Reigns returned as a new version of himself and beat down both The Fiend and Strowman to close out the pay-per-view.

Drew McIntyre was more successful than The Monster Among Men in his title defence as he defeated Randy Orton with a Backslide after an evenly fought contest.
