Roman Reigns Returns At WWE SummerSlam 2020

The Big Dog is in a bad mood...

Back at the WrestleMania 36 tapings, Roman Reigns pulled out of his Universal Championship match against Goldberg and went on hiatus from WWE. The Big Dog later revealed he decided to head home to protect his family during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic because he was concerned some talent wouldn't take the pandemic as seriously as he had.

After five months away, Reigns returned following the main event of SummerSlam. "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt had little time to celebrate winning the Universal Championship as Roman appeared from out of nowhere and hit him with a hellacious Spear.

The returning star revealed a darker side of himself as he declared there was no monster in WWE unless he was around. He then lambasted both Wyatt and Braun Strowman and proceeded to beat down The Monster Among Men with chair shot after chair shot. The Big Dog rounded out the pay-per-view by Spearing The Fiend once again and holding the Universal Championship above his head, making his intentions abundantly clear.
