WWE SummerSlam 2026 To Be Two-Night Event

WWE SummerSlam 2026 to be two nights

Although the show is over two years away, WWE have announced that SummerSlam 2026 will be held over two nights on Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2 at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota. WWE will hold a number of fan and community events around SummerSlam in the Minneapolis area as well.

"US Bank Stadium is an absolutely world-class venue, situated in a city with rich wrestling history and an amazing fan base. We're excited to bring two nights of SummerSlam to Minneapolis in 2026," WWE EVP of Talent Relations and Head of Communications Chris Legentil said.

President and CEO of Minnesota Sports and Events Wendy Blackshaw added: "We are thrilled to welcome the WWE Universe to Minnesota for SummerSlam. We will make this summertime wrestling extravaganza accessible for fans of all ages. Through a variety of festivities and ancillary events in the Twin Cities and affordable tickets to the main events at US Bank Stadium, this will be a SummerSlam for all."

US Bank Stadium has a capacity of 73,000 and the stadium is the home of the NFL's Minnesota Vikings.

Minneapolis was the frontrunner to host WrestleMania 41 before WWE pivoted after the UFC merger and decided to hold their biggest show in 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was noted following the Vegas announcement by Blackshaw that Minnesota Sports and Events were in talks with WWE over a future event in the state.
