WWE Talent Expected To Be Fired During Post-UFC Merger Releases

A WWE talent expected to be released

Following the completion of the merger between WWE and UFC under the TKO Group banner, WWE released over 20 talents, including the likes of Dolph Ziggler, Shelton Benjamin, Mustafa Ali, Emma, Aliyah, and Top Dolla.

One WWE talent in Tegan Nox expected to be let go, although she was ultimately retained by the company.

Nox said during an appearance on the Wilde On podcast: "Oh, I was expecting a call. 100% percent... like [a 5 out of 10], like I was like 'Oh, I don't want to get fired.' But [if it happens], then that's just life, you know? Maybe this place wasn't meant for me. But I still got a job as of now. Just a weird time with everything happening. That's why now, instead of worrying about everything, I'm just enjoying things as they happen, because you never know what could happen. So what's the point in worrying when I could just have fun?"

Nox has been on the receiving end of a push in recent weeks since Triple H was re-established as the head of WWE creative. She unsuccessfully challenged Becky Lynch for the NXT Women's Championship and Nox has formed a tag team with Natalya as they look to pursue the Women's Tag Team Titles.

Nox may be out of action with an injury, though, as Natalya revealed on the October 23 edition of Monday Night Raw the former Nixon Newell wasn't at the show due to a medical issue.

Tegan Nox is currently in her second run with WWE. She returned to the company in December 2022, one year on from her WWE release.
