All of the WWE releases from September 21 below!
For the first time since November 2021, WWE carried out mass releases to main roster talents on Thursday, September 21.
The talents released by WWE were:

- Mustafa Ali
- Shelton Benjamin
- Top Dolla
- Riddick Moss
- Emma
- Aliyah
- Rick Boogs
- Quincy Elliott
- Bryson Montana
- Dana Brooke
- Mansoor (Mån.sôör)
- Mace (Ma.çé)
- Shanky
- Dabba-Kato (AKA Babatunde and Commander Azeez)
- Yulisa Leon
- Daniel McArthur
- Kevin Ventura-Cortez
- Alexis Gray
- Brooklyn Barlow
- Ikemen Jiro
- Abule Abadi-Fitzgerald
- Matt Riddle - announced on September 22.
After releasing nine main roster talents earlier in the day, WWE released several more talents from 9 pm BST on Thursday.
Those talents were primarily from NXT. Matt Riddle was then released on Friday, September 22.
WWE have released the talents in the aftermath of the company's merger with UFC under the TKO Group Holdings banner. The merger went through on September 12 and it was rumoured last week that WWE planned to carry out major cuts to the roster. Over 100 office employees were fired by WWE on Friday, September 15.
The WWE releases come on the same day the company announced that USA Network would be the new home of Friday Night SmackDown from October 2024. The new five-year deal with NBCUniversal is worth $1.4 billion, according to the Wall Street Journal.
