WWE Talent Planning To Speak With Higher-Ups Following CM Punk's Return

Many WWE Superstars are reportedly expected to speak to management regarding CM Punk's return.

A report by Fightful Select following CM Punk's return promo on Raw states that many WWE talent aim to speak to management about his time in the promotion moving forwards. The article explains:

"We're told that many WWE talent expect to speak with higher ups and gain some assurances about Punk and how he will be in the company moving forward."

In terms of the initial response by those in WWE towards Punk, the report also explains that the reaction has been "much more tepid than originally expected, just as was the case when Punk came back to AEW for Collision. In both WWE and AEW, there had been people that had said they didn’t want to work with him and would consider leaving, but we heard of no release requests from people in AEW and now WWE connected to it."

Punk's shock return at the end of Survivor Series WarGames was met by a furious ringside response from Seth Rollins, which has since been widely reported as a work. Rollins referenced Punk during his promo segment on last night's show, saying he didn't want to waste any time talking about somebody who doesn't matter.
