WWE Talent Send Support To Naomi After Twitter Account Deactivation

Naomi turned off her social media after receiving disgusting online abuse

WWE superstar Naomi has deactivated her Twitter account in response to a wave of incessant vitriolic online abuse following husband Jimmy Uso’s recent arrest for a DUI.

Uso was arrested last week but still featured on Friday’s SmackDown, and in the wake of his arrest, online trolls inexplicably targeted Naomi, including examples of racially aggravated abuse.

Understandably Naomi deactivated her Twitter account and stepped away form the platform, and has since received public displays of love and support from her WWE peers, such as Cedric Alexander, the recently returned Zelina Vega, and Mia Yim.

In response to one particular troll Yim Tweeted “yea, you’re getting reported by all of us” highlighting some of the abuse Naomi has faced, with Yim earlier Tweeting simply “Naomi, you are loved.”

Naomi is scheduled to compete at WWE Money in the Bank, taking part in the eponymous match. There is now word yet on if she is still scheduled to compete, or is expected to take some time off.
