WWE To Heavily Relax Brand Split
Lots of 'all hands on deck' shows coming up for WWE
Nov 22, 2024
The official WWE brand split is reportedly set to become a thing of the past, at least through to WrestleMania 41.
WWE have already loosened the restrictions between Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown, especially for the OG Bloodline vs. Bloodline programme that has seen the likes of Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu pop up on Raw, while Bronson Reed has worked SmackDown.
Restrictions around the brand split will only continue to be loosened, with Bryan Alvarez reporting in a special edition of Figure Four Weekly to "expect a very loose adherence to the draft from now through WrestleMania." WWE will have a lot of "all hands on deck shows", especially with the upcoming Saturday Night's Main Event and Raw's move to Netflix.
One talent expected to be featured across both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown from the new year is Roman Reigns, with reports noting the former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion will actually be featured more on Raw than Friday nights during the build to WrestleMania.
The WWE brand split has been officially in place (once again) since 2016, although the rules around talent moving been main roster shows have been changed on a number of occasions.
